9. Excalibur 5000 Overview

In episode 9 of the Keencut Picture Framing Series, David explains how to cut sheet materials such as mountboard, foam core, acrylic, glass, and MDF on the Keencut Excalibur 5000. The Excalibur 5000 is extremely easy to use and will ensure that sheet materials are perfectly square and cut to the same measurements. David explains all the machine parts, including the cutting turret blades for cutting, scoring, and glass cutting. The cutting blade will cut foam core, mountboard and corrugated backing board. The scoring blade is ideal for plastic sheet and acrylic, and the glass cutter will easily cut 2-3mm glass but can cut up to 6mm, which is useful when cutting mirrors.

This video is part of the Keencut Picture Framing Masterclass presented by award-winning picture framer David Wilkie GCF.
