Realigning start of cut scale on the Ultimat Futura

Before you start

Before starting any work, check that you have the following equipment:

3mm Allen key (hex key)

1. Remove vertical blade cartridge

To remove or realign the start of cut scale, first remove the vertical blade cartridge, then loosen the grub screw using 3mm Allen (hex) key

2. Adjust the scale

Tilt the head forward, until the rear grub screw lines up with the slot in the blade holder. Slide the scale, so that the nearest end is flush with the face of the slideblock and re-tighten both screws.
